1. What we keep
- Your account: your email, your plan, and what you said you are building, if you did.
- Your API keys, only as a fingerprint. The key itself is shown to you once and never stored.
- Usage counts: calls a day by key and endpoint, and the errors your keys got back.
- If you sign in with Google: Google shares the name, email address and profile picture of the Google account you choose with Developer Data. We keep only the email address and Google's number for that account, so you can sign in with it again. We do not keep the name or the picture, and we keep no Google password or token.
- Support tickets you open.
- Page and API logs, for security.
2. Card details
We never hold card details. Our payment provider takes the payment and keeps the card.
3. Why we keep it
To run the API, bill it, answer support, stop abuse and keep it secure. Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising tracking.
4. Who else handles it
- Our payment provider, Stripe, when you pay for a plan.
- Cloudflare, for our network and security.
- Google, when you sign in with Google, and while you are signed out: our pages then load Google's sign-in script, so Google receives your IP address and may use its own cookies.
- Our email provider, through Developer Data, to send your account emails.
- Our hosting company, where the servers run.
5. Cookies
One cookie, bba_s, keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. If you sign in with Google, a second cookie, bba_gs, lasts at most 10 minutes while Google sends you back, and is then removed; signing in through Google's pop-up or button sets bba_ot instead, a random check value that lasts at most 10 minutes. When you sign out, bba_out lasts one minute so Google does not sign you straight back in. While you are signed out, Google's sign-in script may set Google's own cookies. Cloudflare may set its own security cookies. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it
- Your account and keys: while the account is open.
- After you delete your account: gone within 30 days, backups included.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after the account is deleted.
- Page, API and security logs: 30 days.
- Support tickets: while the account is open, then deleted with it.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold, have it corrected, take a copy, or have it deleted. Ask through support; we answer within 30 days.
8. Deleting your account
From your dashboard, Account, Delete my account. Every key stops working at once, you are signed out, any paid plan is cancelled (the unused part is not refunded), and your account is deleted within 30 days. If you cannot sign in, ask through support.
9. Children
This API is not for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
Posted here with the date. A change that matters is emailed to you first.
